Asus Zenfone Live (ZB501KL) Launched With Live Beautification Technology in India

Asus, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturing firm, on Wednesday, unveiled its brand new Zenfone Live (ZB501KL) in India. The handset will be available via all the offline retailers across the country from Wednesday itself with a price tag of Rs 9,999.

The biggest highlight of the Android smartphone is the presence of the ‘world’s first live streaming beautification technology’. It comes with a BeautyLive app, which removes the blemishes of users while having live streaming to social media sites. Moreover, the company has also offered Duel MEMs microphones along with a new 5-magnet speaker for clearer voice quality and better audio performance.

In term of specifications, the smartphone is blessed with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a Bluelight filter for eye protection and 2.5D curved glass protection. It runs ZenUI 3.5 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The optical part of the Dual-SIM smartphone includes a 13-megapixel Pixelmaster rear camera coupled with a f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. A 5-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company along with a 1.4-micron pixel sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 82-degree wide angle lens, and a soft-light LED flash. Connectivity options on the board include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, and GPS/ A-GPS.

The GSM handset is backed up by a 2650mAh battery, which has been claimed to provide up to 158.8 hours of standby time, up to 24 hours of 3G talk-time, and 17.1 hours of Wi-Fi browsing. The smartphone also features an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and a proximity sensor. The Asus Zenfone Live weighs 120 grams and measures 141.18x71.74x7.95mm.
