CAT B35 Launched with Extreme weather resistant quality

CAT, renowned for its rugged feature smartphones has now announced the launch of its  CAT B35 with Thermal imaging support. This is company’s second rugged feature smartphone this year. It was first showcased at IFA 2018 in Berlin last month. The company has now announced the launch plans and also its details.

The smartphone is both shockproof and vibration proof.

CAT B35 with its rugged features, offers you with IP68 water and dust resistance feature and could be used underwater at a depth of almost 1.2 meters for 35 minutes. Due to the rugged enclosure, it has been declared as shockproof by CAT. The company bets for the survival even after a 1.8-meter drop on a concrete surface. The most special features and specialities of CAT B35 are that it has been designed such that it could survive at even extreme weather conditions viz. cold, heat, salt, mist, humidity and vibration.

Specifications

CAT B35 sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 chipset. Memory and internal storage capacity are 512MB RAM and 4GB respectively. It is also supported by expandable storage via microSD card slot. The battery size is large up to 2,300mAh and runs KaiOS 2.5. The new feature, phone operating system could also be found on Nokia 8110 4G and Reliance Jio phone. It supports WhatsApp and it comes with Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Search and YouTube apps pre-installed.

The more special features are that it supports 4G LTE and the charge will last for several days. The company has confirmed that the device will be available for purchase earlier next month yet the price has not been unveiled.
