Celkon seems to expand its business in smartphone market by presenting its couple of devices. Company has brought a budget handset, dubbed Colt A401 which has been made appearance with maker’s phablet XION S CT695. No pricing and official availability details are known yet. However, the phone has been listed on Company website.
It is expected that this handset will soon make entry in the stores. The dual SIM handset is designed very carefully to meet with all the requirements of middle tier user. It is based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS which is very appreciative addition in this smartphone. However, interlaced with 1GHz single core processor, it will disappoint you while market is flooded with faster processors.
Featuring a 4-inch WVGA display, it provides 480x800 pixels screen resolution. On the other side, 256MB of RAM grants users with slightly smooth operability when multiple applications are running simultaneously. However, the lack of RAM capacity may affect the smooth multitasking, but keeping its budget tag in mind, it seems okay.
Its 4GB of inbuilt memory is spacious enough for huge data storage and the support of microSD card increases it with expandable storage of upto 32GB. Colt A401 sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash while the front has a 0.3-megapixel snapper for video calling purpose. Connectivity features include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth support. The 1400mAh battery blesses the phone with more power. Though, Celkon has not disclosed the talk time and standby time for the handset. The handset is listed in Black, White and Blue color options and measures 124.9x64x10.4mm.
