China Certification Passed Three Variants of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro

Xiaomi has been rumored to surface a new smartphone in its Redmi series as Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro. The device was rumored several times with couple of images been leaked. The device has been certified now in China with acceptance of its three variants. Various other same branded gadgets are also spotted.

The three models selected and reportedly passed the China certifications are 2015617, 2015611, and 2015056, which are assumed to be the variants of Redmi Note 2 Pro. The smartphone is going to launch next month as per the reports, but the company has not yet uttered words on the device existence.

The smartphone, as per the reported leaks and as per the images floored out in couple of weeks, is said to arrive in two variants. The variant one would house a fingerprint sensor on the back panel below the rear camera, the other variant would completely miss out on the particular feature. The device is a metal build smartphone with a fingerprint scanner included. It varies in these two segments with the flagship Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.

The device sports 5.5-inch full-HD display. It grabs its power from an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz clubbed with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 2GB RAM. It packs 3060mAh battery for longer talk time. The snapper’s edge is sanctified with 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Another such handset as Redmi 2 Pro passed the US FCC certification website. The 4G LTE supportive phone includes 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz) connectivity features. It supports bands 2, 4, and 7 that are 4G enabled. It has no network support features identical, but support all the other identical feature to Redmi 2 Prime. The smartphone is considered to be the US variant of a recently launched Redmi 2 Prime, which has been announced in India back in August.
