Coolpad Note 5 Lite With 4G VoLTE Support, 3GB RAM Launched in India

Coolpad on Thursday has launched a new 4G VoLTE supported smartphone in India dubbed as the Coolpad Note 5 Lite. As its name suggests, it is a basic version of company’s Coolpad Note 5 smartphone, which was introduced back in September 2016 in India. The handset will be available exclusively via Amazon India in Gold and Grey colour options from Tuesday, March 21, with a price tag of Rs 8,199.

Concerning the specifications, the Android smartphone features a 5-inch HD IPS display with resolution 720 x 1280 pixels along with 294 ppi of pixel density, 2.5D curved glass protection and a 70.6 percent of screen to body ratio. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and a Mali 720 GPU. The device runs Cool UI 8.0, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a fingerprint scanner at the rear panel.

In term of optics, the Dual-SIM smartphone is blessed with a 13-megapixel of rear camera with dual-LED flash. An 8-megapixel of front shooter with LED flash has also been provided by the company for selfie lovers. It comes with USB OTG support and 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 64 GB via microSD card.

The GSM smartphone is backed up by a 2500mAh battery, which has been rated to deliver up to 200 hours of standby time and includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB as connectivity options. Sensor part on the board includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
