Dual-SIM Variant of Galaxy Note-5 Launched by Samsung at INR 51,400

The South Korean manufacturer Samsung has finally heard the prayers of all its buyers as it has finally launched the dual-SIM variant of much awaited Galaxy Note-5 smartphone in Indian market. This news is more exciting since just last year Samsung unveiled its flagship device i.e., Galaxy Note-5. The new handset is a dual-SIM variant and comes with dual nano SIM support. Interested users can buy it from company's e-store.

Another major news that has kept its buyers excited is the price cut the company has announced on its single-SIM variant. The 32GB storage variant will now be available for INR 47,900 while the 64GB storage variant will now be available for INR 53,900. Talking about the specs of Galaxy Note-5 we observe that it is a single-SIM variant that features a 5.7-inch touchscreen display, is powered by 1.5Ghz octa-core Exynos 7420 processor and runs on Android Lollipop v5.1.1 OS.

Additionally, it features 4GB of RAM, with an internal storage capacity of 32GB which can not be expanded much to the dismay of many users. However, it packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear end and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies and is powered by a 3000mAh of non-removable battery and is also available in three color variants.

In the case of a dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy Note-5, the company has quoted the price as INR 51,400 for the 23GB variant and will be available in three color variants namely, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium. Another variant having 64GB memory would be rolled out soon by the manufacturer at a price of INR 57,400 and as with the current version, the upcoming 64GB variant too will be available for purchase via company's official e-store.

On the specs front, it comes with a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen that supports the company's proprietary S Pen stylus. The phablet is powered by Samsung's 64-bit Exynos octa-core processor and is backed by 4GB of RAM. Since, the internal capacities is enough for both the variants, so there is no provision for any external MicroSD cards which might trouble some of the users.

Both the variants run on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with a new optimised version of Samsung's TouchWiz UI layer. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery that supports fast-charging on both the wireless as well as wired chargers. It also sports a 16MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 5MP front-facing camera.

On the connectivity front, the new Samsung phablet supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, MIMO(2x2), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, ANT+, microUSB 2.0, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, and 4G LTE Cat-9 / LTE Cat-6 options. It also has integrated fingerprint sensor and heart rate monitor for health conscious users.
