Gello, an Open Source Android Browser by CyanogenMod is Coming Soon

A company which is known for developing custom ROM, the CyanogenMod which has eponymously called custom OS now come out with a bizarre invention. To knock down with a feather, a news has come into lights, telling about a new browser for Android. Lo and behold! The famous name behind the Android based custom ROM is working on a Android browser. This is an open-source project of company which is named Gello. It would be based on a chromium browser which will give users another option for browsing on mobile phone.

Well, options are wide for mobile browsers, and this Gello has also increased the count by teasing in a video and few images. Check the official teaser video shown below:

Well, the company is good at its work, hence the customization in this new open-source browser would be on top which will bring versatility and advancement in features. Well, we can’t say much about the Gello, but the teaser images and video has given us a chance to articulate few of its features.

1. Offline Reading will let users to save pages for reading later.

2. You can rename and change the saved location of downloaded files.

3. Power saving, Immersive, and Night mode which will help in eradicate the pictures and ads which are covering article body.

4. Edge Swipe gesture will let you to move from one web page to other. Site by Site privacy settings is another new feature.

Well, there is one disappointing fact also with Gello as it’s not be compatible for low-end devices as Joey Rizzoli statement. Company has neither spoken on the release date nor about its licensing. So, we could only wait for the Gello to come in the Android device.
