Gionee Introduces another Slim Handset GN715 with LTE Backing

Gionee is the Chinese king of smartphone manufacturing, though globally, it requires a lot of efforts to reach the position of being number one. Still, the honor of producing slimmest handset is in its court with Elife S5.5, and to continue the legacy, the firm has introduced GN715 with not so slim design to replicate the earlier one, but, acceptance to call it slim is permissible.

The device boasts a great display size of 5 inches with HD resolution counting 1280x720 pixels. However, this much of smartphone’s size is not a new thing in the industry, but it is great in terms of handiness and practicality and can be considered as ideal.  Boasting the latest soft side, it lives over the Android KitKat operating system version 4.4. The name suggested here also not confirm and company might revise it for a better name. The world of computing is calculating time at a good load of speed, which reflects the same over the gadgets’ processors as well. The Gionee GN715 has a quad core 400 SoC processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon which is clocked at 1.2GHz frequency.

The new aspect with this smartphone is the flash enabled front facing 5 megapixel camera. The rear camera however is also well and good with its dedicated flash, 8 megapixel sensor and features auto focus. The rear camera position reminds me of the iPhone styling. The device will store the temporary files in 1GB RAM while the permanent files will receive their destination in 8GB of internal memory which can be stretched further to 32GB via microSD card.

Gionee has built so many connectivity aspects with this gadget. The device handles 4G LTE and 3G along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, EDGE/GPRS, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Micro-USB 2.0. the power backing system has a 2000mAH battery that can be considered just fine for the features arriving with this phone, but the actual data about the backup and talktime is still needs to be consolidated. As far as cost is heeded, one can expect this device with owning price being Rs. 17,000 Approx. the color options available with it are not varied and white is the only shade to catch here.
