Many rumors are going around about the Google Pixel 3 Lite, and the Google Pixel 3 XL Lite. Now a report has emerged which indicates that the company will launch the Google Pixel Lite series of smartphones under the tag name “3a”. As per a recent report, the Google Pixel 3a is speculated to come with a price tag of Euros i.e. around Rs 35,000 in terms of the Indian Currency and will be launched at Google I/O 2019.
The Google Pixel 3a will come with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of onboard storage. For 6GB of RAM variant, the company has not yet nodded its head and this can be said because the higher variant Pixel 3 XL is of 4GB of RAM. As per the reports, the forthcoming smartphone will come in three color options- Black, Iris and White.
The Google Pixel 3a is speculated to sport a 5.6-inch display while the Google Pixel 31 XL will flaunts 6.0-inch screen with FHD+ resolution. The “3a” smartphones will come with a full screen i.e. without notch with an aspect ratio of 18:9 along with a chin at the top and bottom of the smartphone while the original Pixel smartphones had notch.
The Google Pixel 3a and the Google Pixel 3a XL under the hood are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Both the smartphones are expected to come with dual SIM card slots (physical slot and an e-SIM slot) with 4G LTE and VoLTE on both the slots.
Same like Pixel 3, the Pixel 3a will carry a single 12MP rear camera and at the front, the smartphone will carry an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. The Pixel 3a comes with 3.5mm headphone jack which was excluded from the 2nd and 3rd generation Pixel smartphones.
In terms of the design, the Google Pixel 3a will have an overall form factor from the Google Pixel 3. But the Pixel 3a will have plastic and both the smartphones might not come with the wireless charging support. The smartphones are expected to run on latest Android 9 Pie Operating System which will later be updated to Android 10Q.
