After unveiling in the China market, the Honor 8C now made its way to the Indian market on 29 November. The key highlights of the device include a 19:9 aspect ratio, face unlock recognition technology, Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC. It comes with gradient color options. The company is touting that the artificial intelligence (AI) features are available on the Honor 8C.
Along with Honor 8C, the Chinese tech giant has also launched the Honor Band 4 in India, but the company has not revealed the price and availability details of Honor Fitness Band. It comes with a 0.95-inch OLED display and also provides you heart beat rate. To recall the Honor 8C was initially launched in the China market in October this year.
In India, Honor 8C comes with a starting price of Rs. 11,999 for 4GB/ 32GB storage model and goes up to Rs. 12,999 for 4GB/64GB storage. The users can choose among Aurora Blue, Magic Night Black, Platinum Gold, and Nebula Purple color options. The deliveries of Honor 8C will start from December 10 only on Amazon.in and Honor official website
The Honor 8C comes with a 6.26-inch HD+ TFT IPS LCD along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone offers the screen resolution of 720x1520 pixels and 86.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. As a part of the software, the Honor 8C runs on Android 8.1 Oreo layered with EMUI 8.2. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC. For storing content, it gets 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. It comes with a different slot for microSD card which supports data extension p to 256GB.

For photography, the Honor 8C has dual sensors on the rear panel consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor accompanied by an LED flash. Up front, there is an 8MP camera sensor for selfies and video calling.
The rear camera comes with the support of AI-powered features which the company claims to recognize 500 scenarios in 22 different categories and optimizes settings. It features HDR support which provides clear visibility and enhances photo quality. The Honor 8C has been preloaded with AI Shopping feature that automatically detects the object and provides you with a list of items or its alternative online with the help of built-in NPU.
The connectivity options on the Honor 8C include 4G VoLTE, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 LE with aptX, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, a Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone. The Honor 8C has been equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor. The Honor 8C packs a 4,000mAh battery bundle with 5V/2A (10W) charging. The dimensions are 158.72x75.94x7.98mm and weight is 167.2 grams.
