Honor Magic 2 Likely To Come With Graphene-Based Battery Technology

The concept phone of Honor Magic 2 was initially showcased at CES 2018, where the device has a bezel-less display, the motorized camera for the front panel and looks like it is one of the impressive smartphones from Huawei.

Considering the camera specifications of the Honor Magic 2 it looks similar to recently launched Oppo Find X and Vivo Nex in terms of appearance.

The Honor has announced that the successor of Honor Magic will be bundled with 40W charger along with fast-charging technology that to be titled with Magic Charge.

A fresh information about the upcoming smartphone has surfaced online which suggest it will come with a Graphene-based battery officially announced by Honor vice president Xiong Junmin. Huawei would definitely offer something outstanding in the Honor Magic 2 which we can see at the official launch event.

Graphene-based technology offers some benefits in the upcoming Honor Magic 2 such as an effective cooling system and protects the device from overheating while charging the device by utilizing the 40W Magic Charge.

Graphene-based technology battery is light, slim and cheaper than the Lithium-ion batteries. All the detailed information about the Honor Magic 2 would be unveiled by Huawei at the official launch event. The Honor Magic 2 is expected to be unveiled on October 26.

Honor Magic 2 Rumored Specifications and Price

Honor Magic to be considered the outstanding smartphone which was being offered by Huawei, though the disappointing part is that it was launched only in the China market.

Now, the Chinese smartphone has started working on the successor of the Honor Magic, likely to be called with Honor Magic 2 and this time the Honor could be planning to unveil the flagship smartphone across the globe.

The leaked reports suggested that the Honor Magic 2 is likely to come with a motorized camera similar to Vivo Nex and Oppo Find X.

It is anticipated that the alleged Honor Magic will come with a 6-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2880×1440 pixels. It seems that the company could offer Full HD+ display instead of Quad HD+ display which is available in Huawei P20 Pro.

The notch at the top of the display could offer 19:9 aspect ratio and 95 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Huawei had showcased the latest Kirin 980 processor at IFA 2018 which is based on the 7nm process and seems that Kirin 980 SoC would be available in Honor Magic 2.

The alleged Honor Magic is said to feature dual 12MP cameras on the rear panel and 24MP selfie snapper. It is likely to be bundled with a fast charger which delivers an output of 20-24 watts.

Fast Charging Technology has been designed by Huawei itself and the Honor Magic 2 could come with the support of wireless charging.

The Honor Magic is likely to be equipped with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration. The device is said to be powered by a 3,300mAh battery and will run on EMUI 9.0 layered with Android 9 Pie.

It is speculated that the rumoured Honor Magic 2 would be available at RMB 3,999 (roughly Rs 40,000). At this price point, the Honor Magic 2 will be categorized in the premium segment and brings an impressive design.
