HTC has announced its two new smartphones Desire 210 and Desire 816 on Monday for Indian market. Both phones are priced at Rs. 8,700 and Rs. 23,990 respectively. These phones are introduced for growing the market of budget smartphones. It is expected that the Desire 210 will hit the market for customers in April end and Desire 816 will be in approach of Indian customers within two weeks.
HTC Desire 210 has 4 inch WVGA display with screen resolution of 480x800 pixels. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform and uses Sense interface which is quite attractive and effective. It is powered with 1GHz dual-core MediaTek processor and embedded with 512MB of RAM. The phone supports Dual SIM; one for micro SIM and other for regular SIM. Its primary camera captures images at 5-megapixel clarity and 0.3-megapixel secondary camera gives the good output for video calling. It is coupled with 4GB internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB. The phone is crafted with a battery of 1300mAh capacity.
HTC Desire 816 features 5.5-inch touchscreen display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. It is embedded with quad-core chipset which is clocked at 1.6GHz and uses Snapdragon 400 for performing well with the device. The phone is equipped with 1.5GB of RAM 8GB of inbuilt memory, can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card slot which provides more space for storing huge amount of data on a single device. It runs on Android Jelly Bean OS and also comes with Sense UI. It is fitted with 13-megapixel primary camera along with 5-megapixel secondary camera.
