HTC U11 Started Rolling Out Android 8.0 Oreo Update

HTC, Taiwan based smartphone manufacturer company has officially announced the rolling out of latest Android Oreo 8.0 Orea update for HTC U11 users. Some of the users have reported that the size of the new software update is about 1.48GB. New Software update fetches v3.16.708.3 and fetch Android 8.0 Oreo on the board and also comes with some other improvements for the HTC U11 flagship smartphone.

As we already mentioned that the company officially announced at social media platform twitter for rolling out of Android 8.0 Oreo for HTC U11 users. In a Tweet, the company said that HTC U11 Oreo Update is live. Start updating now.. #HTCU11 #Oreoupdate." Whereas the company did not mention the more details about the update changelog but the company mentions the bug fixes, system improvements and important enhancements in an official announcement.

The new software update will come with various Android 8.0 Oreo features such as Notification dots, Autofill, Picture-In-Picture (PIP), Background limits, Companion device pairing, Keyboard navigation, Wide-gamut color for apps and many more.

Previously in November 2017, HTC U11 had started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update in Taiwan. Recently, HMD Global has officially announced the rolling out of Android 8.0 Oreo Software Update for Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphones.

HTC U11 Specifications

To recall, HTC U11 was previously launched in May 2017. It features a 5.5-inch Quad-HD Super LCD display along with resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor, matted with 6GB RAM and also has 128GB internal storage.

In terms of optics, HTC U11 sport a 12-megapixel rear camera featuring a 4K video recording, f/1.7 aperture, dual-LED flash and f/1.7 aperture. The smartphone also has a 16-megapixel front- facing camera featuring a Pro Mode with manual control, Face Detection, and RAW format support.

The smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0. Support. The phone has a 4G VoLTE connection. The weight of the smartphone is 169 grams and its dimensions are 153.9x75.9x7.9mm.
