Huawei Honor 4 Play: 64bit powered smartphone Launched

Huawei to expand its Honor series has unwrapped a LTE enabled smartphone, Honor 4 Play on Monday in an event. The handset has appeared at the budget price of CNY 799 (Approx Rs. 7,921). Recently, the phone has been announced for China market only, but it is expected that it will reach in other markets later. The handset is powered by 64-bit processor which is high-end feature, mostly available in premium devices like HTC Desire 820. But, offering the same in a budget phone, Company has taken a very innovative step in the budget smartphone market.

64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor from Qualcomm is used in device to make the performance better. To improve the graphics result, there is Adreno 306 GPU of 320MHz. It is also paired with 1GB RAM which is a very good offering by the mobile maker in an affordable handset.

The Honor 4 Play is a dual SIM handset that offers 720x1280 pixel resolution using the 5-inch HD IPS display. It also comes with 10-point touch support. This smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat platform and uses native Emotion UI 2.3 to make the UI more impressive.

On the imaging front, it has 8-megapixel rear snapper, having back-illuminated Cmos sensor with LED flash. On the other side, 2-megapixel front shooter is also here for shutterbugs. The device comes integrated with 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card.

A 2000mAh Li-ion battery is carved in device to offer upto 450 minutes of talk time and 150 hours of standby time. Black and White colors make the device elegant in looks.
