Huawei Honor 6 Plus: iPhone 6 Plus Contender with Staggering Specs

Being in talks for a long time, the bigger Huawei device has finally rolled out for China market. The Huawei Honor 6 Plus has been unzipped as a new flagship of the Company with gigantic features and impressive aesthetic. The bigger variant of Honor 6 is now official to compete with iPhone 6 Plus. With 7.5mm thickness, this is the elegant device with 4G connectivity. However, it has not been listed on company website yet.

Preorder for this plushy smartphone will begin from Wednesday while the shipping of this handset will be going to begin from next week. Featuring a 5.5 inch display, this device is bound to offer 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Working along with Company’s own Kirin 925, the octa-core processor has the capability to boost the performance, clocked at 1.8GHz. Accompanied with 3GB of RAM and Mali T628 GPU, the processor becomes more powerful. The same Kirin 925 chipset also offers the Cat. 6 LTE connectivity at 300Mbps.

A massive 3,600mAh battery is packed inside the phone which blesses the handset with enough juice. The option of 16GB and 32GB built-in storage is also available for buyers that wants to by the one, which can further be expandable upto 128GB. On the imaging front, the Chinese mobile maker has tried to craft a HTC One M8 like camera. Honor 6 Plus is engineered with a dual 8MP camera, called as “symmetrical dual camera technology” by the maker. The camera keeps the capability to capture images of 13MP resolution from this 8MP dual camera, thanks to its SLR-grade ISP technology. On the front side, it is reported that a 5-megapixel camera will be paired for selfie enthusiasts.

Huawei Honor 6 Plus

Running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS along with Emotion 3.0 UI, this Huawei device is meant for offering amazing software experience. Huawei Honor 6 Plus will be selling in China in two variants, one with dual-SIM model that supports 4G connectivity and the other is also a dual-SIM version with 4G LTE connectivity. Both are priced at CNY 1,999 (Approx Rs. 20,536) and CNY 2,499 (Approx Rs. 25,666) respectively. It is expected that India will get this smartphone in February 2015. However, the Chinese tech giant has not informed about the global availability.
