Huawei is all about set to launch its next high end smartphone, the Honor 5X in India on January 28. The Huawei has started sending out its press invites for the launch event, the company touted the upcoming smartphone as “Faster Better and Stronger.”
Earlier, the Honor 5X was launched in China in October and was launched in two variants i.e 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM, priced at CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,200) and CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,300) respectively.
The dual SIM (Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM) features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with aresolution pixel of 1080*1920 pixels. It is powered by a 64 bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC , clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU. The device has the internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128Gb via microSD card slot expansion.
On the camera front, the Honor 5X is loaded with 13 megapixel of camera at the rear end with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide angle lens, 5P lens and Blue Glass IR ilter. On the other hand, it has the 5 megapixel front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, 22mm wide angle, 4p lens, Blue Glass filter.
The smartphone is also featuring a fingerprint sensor with the company's latest 'Fingerprint 2.0' tech, which is said to unlock the handset in as little as 0.5 seconds. It is placed on the rear panel just below the camera. For the connectivity, the handset includes Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE (FDD and TDD) connectivity options. The smartphone measures 151.3*76.3*8.15mm and weighs 158 grams. It was available in China in Silver and Gold color variants.
The Honor 5X by Huawei is backed by 3000mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0, which can charge up to 50% battery in 30 minutes of time.
