Huawei, the Chinese tech giant has launched their P9 smartphone also assumed as flagship killer in India. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 39,999 and will be available for purchase from Wednesday on e-commerce website Flipkart.
The smartphone giant was also hoping to bring a larger version of P9 under the moniker of P9 Plus, but the company hasn't taken the steps till now. Meanwhile talking about the specs of Huawei P9, it is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow featuring company's EMUI 4.1 skin on top. Also featuring a 5.2-inch full-HD IPS LCD display that gives a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, the smartphone is powered by a Hi-Silicon Kirin 955 octa-core processor (2.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A72 + 1.8GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 cores) which is coupled with 3GB RAM.
The Android smartphone have a 32GB inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card and the very same bigger version P9 Plus comprises of 4GB RAM and a 64GB inbuilt storage. The P9 is fueled by a 3000mAh battery.
Both the Huawei P9 versions sports a dual rear camera setup that was 'co-engineered with Leica'. The back camera is having dual 12-megapixel with f/2.2 apertures in which one capturing color images while other one taking monochrome images. The P9 also have an 8 megapixel on the front face. The GSM handset connectivity options are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, Infrared, and USB Type-C.
The color options available with the device are Ceramic White, Prestige Gold, and Titanium Grey in India and other privilege services offered by the company are a 2-year warranty, 3-month screen replacement warranty, and a pickup and drop service.
The bigger sibling Huawei P9 Plus is not yet available to Indian prospects, but as for now concerned features are a Super AMOLED 5.5-inch full-HD display (with Pressure Touch technology) having a 4GB RAM/64GB storage duo bearing a 3400mAh battery.
In the event, the Huawei also offered a pure stainless steel Huawei Watch at Rs. 22,999 which will be available on the same platform i.e. Flipkart starting from 3pm IST.
