Huawei, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm has added two new smartphones in its Honor series. Both the Android smartphones are announced on August, 1 at China. Honor Note 8 is priced starting at CNY 2,299 (Rs. 23,100 approximately) and Honor 5 is priced at CNY 599 (Rs. 6,100 approximately).
The Honor Note 8 comes in 3 variants based on memory specs- 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The 32GB variant is priced at CNY 2,299 (Rs. 23,100 approximately), the 64GB variant is priced at CNY 2,499 (Rs. 25,100 approximately) and the 128GB variant is priced at CNY 2,799 (Rs. 28,100 approximately).
Honor Note 8 is fueled with a Kirin 955 octa-core processor paired with Mali T880-MP4 GPU and 4GB RAM. The model features a hybrid Dual-sim (nano + nano) card slot and a fingerprint scanner. The GSM-device runs on Emotion UI 4.1 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is packed with a 6.6-inch Quad HD display with resolution 1440 X 2560 pixels further protected with 2.5D curved glass protection. Storage of the model can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
The Android smartphone is blessed with a 13-megapixels rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and OIS. The 8 - megapixel front camera will give you a marvelous experience of selfies. The device is backed up with a 4500mAh battery with fast charging. The GSM smartphone also includes 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C port and Bluetooth 4.2 as connectivity options. If we talk about looks, the Huawei Honor Note 8 will be available in Gold, Silver and Grey color variants.
On the other hand, Honor 5 supports Dual sim card option and runs on Emotion UI 3.1 Lite based on Android v5.0 Lollipop. The device is fueled with a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor paired with Mali- T720GPU and 2GB of RAM. Including a 5-inch HD IPS display of resolution 720 X 1280 pixels, the Android smartphone offers 16GB of internal space which can further be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
The model is blessed with an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED, a 2-megapixel front shooter with LED flash. The smartphone is backed up by a 2200mAh battery and consists 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. Huawei Honor 5 will be available in Black, White and Gold color variants.
Huawei Honor 5 will go on sale from August, 2 in China market, whereas Huawei Honor Note 8 will hit the market by August 9.
