The homegrown mobile manufacturers are slowly making their brand value by announcing horde of smartphones, targeting the budget users. In this foray, Intex has been holding one of the top positions. From past few months, company brought arrays of new low-cost smartphones. Even few days earlier, company had introduced couple of handsets. Now again, the tech giant has come with two new smartphones in Aqua series- named Aqua A2 and Aqua Y2 Ultra.
Both handsets have been listed officially, but no information regarding their market availability yet. The official listing has mentioned free 1GB data for 30 days for Aqua A2 customers on Tata Docomo. Aqua A2 and Aqua Y2 Ultra have been set to sell at Rs. 4,350 and Rs. 4,490 respectively whenever they come in market.
On specification side, both devices have some identical features. Both run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and have dual SIM slot. Both are featured with 4-inch displays, having the same 480x800 pixels screen resolution. Camera module of both handsets are same, 5-megapixel camera on rear panel and 0.3-megapixel camera on front are fine to offer good imaging output.
Aqua A2 and Aqua Y2 Ultra support 3G connectivity. Few other options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. On storage side, 8GB built-in memory performs well on huge data saving and if the requirement exceeds, then a microSD card slot is there to help you store upto 32GB data.
Well, it was all about the common specs, let’s move to the differences. Aqua A2 on one side takes the power from quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor, clocking at 1.2GHz and has 512MB RAM while the Aqua Y2 Ultra is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731G) processor and has better 1GB RAM. The former handset gets the fuel from 1500mAh battery while the later one has received the same from 1400mAh battery.
Intex Aqua A2 will be made available in Black, and Blue colors. And, for Aqua Y2 Ultra, you have options of Black, Blue, Champagne, and White colors.
