Intex Indie 5 Launched In India Featuring 4,000mAh battery

Intex Technologies, a native smartphone manufacturer has announced an entry-level smartphone, in India, dubbed as, Indie 5 which has been priced at Rs 4,999. Some of its attractive features include Dragontrail glass protection, 4,000mAh battery and LED selfie flash. The company is offering the smartphone in Black color option only. Prospective buyers can purchase the Intex Indie 5 from Intex Intex authorized offline partners and online platforms in India. The smartphone has been preloaded with apps include Gaana, Amazon Prime Video, QR code scanner and SwiftKey.

Intex Indie 5 Specifications

Intex Indie 5 comes with 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels and 294ppi pixels density. The Indie 5 has 2.5D curved Dragontrail Glass on the top which protects the smartphone from damages and scratches. The company has used a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor integrated with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be extended up to 128GB with the help of microSD card. In terms of photography, the Intex Indie 5 features an 8MP rear camera along with LED flash and same 8MP front-facing camera. The camera app is preloaded with beautification mode, panorama, and HDR.

Intex Indie 5 supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi with WLAN, Bluetooth v4.0, USB with OTG, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Sensors on the smartphone are the ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and proximity sensor. It measures 146.5x 72.2x10.1 mm and weighs 162 grams.

A few days ago, the Indian smartphone manufacturer had also launched Intex Infie 33 and Infie 3 in India at price tag of Rs 5,049 and Rs 4,649 respectively.
