Intex Unveiled Aqua Classic Smartphone With 5-Inch Display for INR 4,444

Intex, the home based smartphone manufacturing company has launched a new entry-level budget smartphone in the India market. The newly launched handset is dubbed as Intex Aqua Classic, which is priced at Rs. 4,444. It will be available in three color variants including Champagne, Grey, and White.

As for the specifications, the Intex Aqua Classic flaunts a 5-inch FWVGA display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection having a resolution of 480*854 pixels. It offers a pixel density of 196ppi. On the software front, the GSM-based handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box. It is fueled by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731C processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The dual SIM based mobile phone has an internal storage of 8GB which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion. At the camera section, it is loaded with a 5-megapixel camera at the rear end with LED flash streak along with a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera.

For the connectivity, the new Aqua Classic includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and Micro-USB. But on the other hand, the smartphone will support 3G on one SIM and GPRS/Edge on the second slot. It is backed by a 2100mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 210 hours of standby time. It comes preloaded with Matrabhasha, 360 security, OLX, Goibibo, Freecharge, Newshunt, Follo, Hike, Chaatz, Saavn, and Opera mini. Dimensionally, it is measuring 145.5x72.6x9.3mm and weighs 160 grams.

Earlier, the Intex launched its Aqua Sense 5.1 smartphone last week. It features 5-inch display having a resolution of 480*854 pixels. It is operated by Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor paired with 512MB of RAM.  The GSM-based smartphone has an 8GB of built-in storage that can be expandable via microSD card. The device bears a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
