Intex Unveils Aqua 4.0, Aqua Crystal, Aqua Supreme+ 4G Smartphones in India

Intex, the Indian smartphone manufacturing firm on February 7, 2017, introduced three new smartphones in the country dubbed as the Aqua 4.0, Aqua Crystal, and Aqua Supreme+. All the three handsets feature 4G VoLTE support and will be available via all retail stores across the country with a price tag of Rs 4,199, Rs. 6,990, and Rs. 9,490 respectively.

Concerning the specifications, let’s start with the basic Aqua 4.0 in the list. The Android smartphone features a 4-inch OLED display of resolution 360 X 640 pixels and protected by Asahi Glass protection. It is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A SoC paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of inbuilt memory space, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

In term of optics, the Dual-SIM handset packs a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash and a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front shooter. It is backed up by 1500mAh battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device also includes 4G VoLTE (with support for FDD-LTE Band 3 and Band 5) along with Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB as connectivity options on board and will be available in Black, Blue, and Champagne colour variants.

Next in the list is the Aqua Crystal smartphone, the GSM handset is blessed with a 5-inch HD IPS display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt memory space, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

Concerning the optical part, the smartphone packs 8-megapixel of rear camera with flash, and a 5-megapixel front shooter for video call and selfies. Connectivity options on the board include 4G VoLTE (with support for FDD-LTE Band 3, Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB.

Powering the smartphone is a 2000mAh battery, which is capable of delivering up to 6 hours of maximum talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time. The handset is also fueled up with LFTY, Tap & Buy, MiFon Security, and Vistoso apps, and will be available in Black and White colour variants.

Coming to the last one in the list, the Intex Aqua Supreme+, which features a 5-inch HD IPS display of resolution 720 X 1280 pixels along with Sodalime Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.

In term of optics, the device packs 13-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front shooter for shooting selfies. Connectivity options on the board include 4G VoLTE (with support for FDD-LTE Band 3, Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB.

It runs Indus OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is backed up by a 3000mAh battery, which is capable of delivering up to 6 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. The handset also packs some additional features, including support for 9 regional languages, new Recharge 2.0 feature on the Indus Dialler, Tap & Buy, MiFon Security, and Vistoso apps.
