Lava Pixel V2 humped with 13MP camera at just Rs 10,750

The juggernaut has put on a new launch with its flagship series smartphone rolling in the market physically. Lava has unveiled Pixel V2, after its predecessor Pixel V1. The price chit of the earlier version has slashed for the newer launch. Pixel V1 was estimated at Rs 11,350, but Pixel V2 being the upgraded version is launched at Rs 10,750.

The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Star OS 2.0 skined. The dual 4G microSIM device is powered by 64-bit quad-core Media MTK6735 SoC that provides a smoother interface to portray multi tasking and multi application support. The 5-inch display flashes IPS HD (720*1280 pixels) resolution, layered by Asahi Dragontail Glass. The quad-core processor includes four Cortex A53 cores at 1.3GHz, paired with 2GB DDR3 RAM and Mali T720 GPU. It is backed up by 16GB inbuilt storage that is expandable to 32GB via microSD card.

The snapper's edge is integrated with 13MP rear end with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, 5p Largan Lens and Blue Glass Filter with dual-LED flash. The front edge is also blessed with wide-angle 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/2.4 aperture, 4p lens with LED flash, which is very well designed for the selfie lovers. The shooter's front has an additional mode of adjustment to figure out as, wide angle selfie, night mode, Pic Focus, Face Beauty, Intelligent Mode and gif maker. Additionally, the video quality is also high to stream a video upto 1080p resolution.

The pocket blaster is backed up by 2500mAh Li-Po battery and weighs 128 grams. On the connectivity front, the device supports Cat. 4 4G LTE connectivity, with support for Indian LTE bands. As reported, the device is now available offline on the stores. It will be made available online from 15th September. The company has decided to roll out the Prism Blue colour variant in October, with Icy White and Royal Black colour variants are still available.
