LeEco Cool1 Dual With Rear Dual Camera Setup Gets Unveiled

Its been just 7 days that LeEco's CEO Jia Yueting has taken power over Coolpad as its rightful Chairman. Both the organizations after the so-called collaboration has now officially unveiled their first handset in the new Cool series. The new smartphone launched by LeEco and Coolpad together has been dubbed under the moniker of Cool1 Dual that begins at a market price of CNY 1,099 (nearly Rs 11,100). The smartphone is currently available for pre-orders on the official Coolpad website, LeMall and Jd.com, and will likely go on sale on coming August 24.

The new LeEco Cool1 Dual Android smartphone has been launched in three different storage variants. The foremost 3GB RAM with 32GB capacity has been priced at CNY 1,099 (generally Rs 11,100), the middle 4GB with 32GB capacity variant is evaluated at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,100) and the last of the three product that offers 4GB RAM with 64GB capacity variant has been evaluated at CNY 1,699 (generally Rs 17,100).

The greatest highlight of the new gadget is the presence of two 13-megapixel cameras at the back end with f/2.0 aperture gap,phase detection autofocus (PDAF), 4K video recording, 720p slo-mo, and dual-tone LED flash. Discussing the additional details, the LeEco Cool1 Dual is a Dual-SIM smartphone that supports Nano SIM cards and operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based EUI 5.6 OS. The GSM-handset further highlights a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display that gives a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels with 450-nit brilliance and 72 percent NTSC color gamut. Under the hood, the device gets powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor (quad-center 1.8GHz Cortex-A72 + quad-center 1.2GHz Cortex-A53) combined with Adreno 510 GPU.

In June, LeEco turned into the biggest shareholder in Chinese smartphone organization Coolpad with a sum of 28.9 percent offers in its name. With this addition, LeEco now hopes to coordinate its biological system model with Coolpad's near-billion intelligent terminals to boost up its sales across North America, Europe, Asia and even Africa. The organization also anticipates that aggregate sales will likely go up to 50 to 60 million in 2016, and in the following year would gather more than 100 million smartphone sales.

The new handset is available in three color variants namely Gold, Silver and Rose Gold.
