Coolpad launched it's latest Smartphone which flashes an 8 Megapixel camera for the Selfie lovers, dubbed as Mega 2.5D especially focus on the selfies. The handset will be available through a flash sale from August 24 at 2pm via Amazon India. The registrations will be starting from Wednesday itself starting from 5pm.
The GSM mobile features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi, with a 73 percent screen to body ratio and 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P SoC that's coupled with an impressive 3GB of RAM. The Dual SIM mobile phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company's own proprietary CoolUI 8.0 skin on top and Coolpad is claiming about his self-owned UI has some of the decent features including theme support, smart pattern unlocks, and much more.
Talking about the notable front camera, the smartphone sports a Front 8-megapixel camera which has an 83.6-degree field of view, and also has a 'smart beautification' mode and with a f/2.2 aperture. Coming to the rear board, the Android mobile sports an 8-megapixel camera accommodating a Sony sensor and an aperture of f/2.0.The Mega 2.5D houses a 16GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB and the connectivity features are Micro-USB, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, also including 4G LTE (with support for Indian LTE bands) and VoLTE.
It is powered by a 2500mAh battery which delivers 9 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time as claimed by the company. The Mega 2.5D has 140 grams of attraction towards gravity and having 7.85mm of thickness. Coolpad Mega 2.5D is very much similar to Coolpad Sky 3 which was launched previous month in China with minuscule changes
