After being in the rumors from last one month, finally, the day comes when the China-based smartphone manufacturer company has launched the Lenovo- Z5 flagship smartphone at an event which is to be scheduled at China Film Director Center in Beijing at 2.30PM CST (12 PM IST). Previously, Chang Cheng, Vice President of Lenovo confirmed that Lenovo Z5 would come with a higher screen-to-body ratio and it would be the completely bezel-less smartphone, but it is quite surprising for us that the smartphone comes with a notch on the top edge similar to Apple iPhone X and nothing is impressive in the smartphone. The smartphone has been in the news in last month as rumors started appearing on the internet. As rumored, the Lenovo Z5 comes with bezel-less display design, the smartphone has a 26.17mm notch on the top edge and 7.69mm bezel on the bottom edge. The key highlighting features of Lenovo Z5 are dual-rear cameras along with AI features and notch similar to Apple iPhone X.
The Lenovo Z5 has been made available at CNY 1,399 which roughly translates to Rs. 14,700 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. However, 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage is priced at CNY 1,799 which roughly converts into Rs. 18,900. It must be noted that aforementioned prices are especially for the China market. The users can pre-book the Lenovo Z5 flagship smartphone in China and it is anticipated that the deliveries of the smartphone will commence from 12th June 10 AM (CST).
The Lenovo Z5 flaunts a 6.2-inch full-HD+ IPS display, 18.7:9 aspect ratio, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and a screen resolution of 1080x2246 pixels. The rumored Z5 features a 2.5D curved glass on the top which protects from breaking and damaging the smartphone. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. It is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage which can be further extended up to 256GB by using a memory card. Under the hood, it packs a 3300mAh battery with the support of fast charging.

In terms of optics, the Lenovo Z5 features a vertically positioned dual-rear cameras which consisting of 16-megapixel primary camera and 8-megapixel secondary camera. The rear camera setup comes with several features such as AI capabilities, 4K support, aperture of f/2.0, HDR+ and LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the Lenovo Z5 gets an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, offering an aperture of f/2.0 and full-HD video recording.
The Lenovo Z5 has dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac with hotspot, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G VoLTE, and USB Type-C port. Sensors on the board are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor. The weight of the smartphone is 165 grams and it measures 153x75.65x7.85mm.
