After the launch of LG Q7, now the South- Korean automobile manufacturer has launched the new smartphone, called with LG Candy in the Indian market which has been priced at Rs 6,699. It comes with a changeable back cover which is the key highlight feature of the budget- segment smartphone. The smartphone has a prominent bezel on the top and bottom display and a single rear camera.
In India, LG Candy comes with a price tag of Rs. 6,699 which will be available for purchase from 1st September 2018 in Silver, Blue, and Gold color variants. The company is touted that that back covers of the smartphone are changeable.
The LG Candy boasts a 5-inch HD On-Cell Touch display, which offers 720x1280 pixels resolution and 294 ppi pixel density. It runs on outdated Android 7.1.2 Nougat out- of- the- box. Under the hood, there is unnamed quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with an option to extend further up to 32GB by using a dedicated micro SD card.
The LG Candy has an 8-megapixel rear camera equipped with 'Flash Jump Shot' feature that clicks up to 20 photos in every three seconds and converts the images into a GIF for easy sharing. Up front, the smartphone gets 5-megapixel selfie snapper. Front camera setup is preloaded with features such as Auto Shot, Gesture Shot, Flash for Selfie and Quick Share. The low-light photography feature is available in the LG Candy which allows users to capture the clear photos even during the night time. The Boomerang feature is compatible with front and rear camera.

The LG Candy is armed with a removable 2,500mAh battery under the hood. It measures 146.3x73.2x8.2mm and weighs 152 grams. The connectivity options on the LG Candy include Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 Type C port, LTE support, and FM Radio.
While addressing at the launch event Advait Vaidya, LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said in a press statement," LG Candy smartphone is focused on delivering even more value to consumers looking for the right device that fits their lifestyle and needs.
