After launching its G6 smartphone, LG, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer is now making plans to introduce its next flagship smartphone soon dubbed as LG V30. The handset has already been leaked previously on several occasions, but the recent leak brought the video and image renders of the upcoming smartphone, which gave us an elaborated view of it from all angles.
The Indian tech info providing firm MySmartPrice in collaboration with the tipster Onleaks has leaked the picture and video of the upcoming LG flagship model. In term of design, the handset features a sleek metal frame along with a glass back. The smartphone, according to the leaks will arrive blessed with very thin bezels very thin bezels with no Home button or any king or navigation buttons at front. Moreover, the leaked video doesn’t show the availability of any secondary display, it might possible that the company could embed it before launch.
Moreover, the speaker grille and the USB Type-C port can be seen at the bottom edge of The V30, whereas the 3.5mm audio jack can be seen at the top of it. The volume keys of the device are placed at the left edge of it, while the power button sits at the right edge. As per the tipster, the rear panel of the upcoming smartphone is made up of glass and it might also come with wireless charging support.
The leaked video and images also show the availability of a dual rear camera setup place horizontally at the centre of it coupled with a flash beside it. A fingerprint sensor can also be seen right below the camera module at the rear side along with a V30 logo at the bottom chin of it. The handset is expected to come with a 6-inch display side.
Considering the previous leaks, the upcoming LG V30 may be blessed with an OLED display, and some of the early mockups also point the availability of a slide out secondary display. The new LG V30 is believed to be introduced ahead of the IFA 2017 event, which is going to take place on September 1 in Berlin. Moreover, the company is expected to unveil the smartphone with a price tag of nearly KRW 800,000 (Rs 45,200 approx).
On the specifications front, the upcoming Android smartphone is said to be backed up by a 3200mAh battery and is also expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. The smartphone is also expected to arrive with IP68 water and dust resistance rating. Additional features said to be available in the handset are ESS' new Quad DAC, to deliver improved audio experience. Lastly, the LG V30 is believed to be offered in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB memory variants.
