LG V40 Might Get Five Cameras

LG, South- Korean giant has unveiled the various number of smartphones till now including LG Q7, Q7+, Q7 Alpha, LG G7 ThinQ and among others. It is worth noting that the company till now has not rolled out all the smartphones globally. Smartphone manufacturers are trying their best to offer advanced technologies and better specifications in the upcoming gadgets to stay in the competitive market.

If the reports are to be believed, LG could be planning to offer five cameras in its next flagship smartphone likely to be dubbed, as LG V40 which will have two- cameras on the front panel and three cameras on the rear side.

LG V40 to be the successor of LG V30 will bring two- camera sensors on the front panel, either one or both of the sensors allows the users to unlock the smartphone with the facial recognition technology, as the availability of dual- cameras on the front panel.

It seems that LG could offer 3D mapping technology to record facial features which looks identical to the TrueDepth Camera system that is currently available on Apple iPhone X. Currently, it is not confirmed at what price new V Series LG smartphone will be available for purchase.

The reports are claimed that LG V40 will have triple cameras on the rear panel which will consist a single standard wide-angle lens in one sensor, “LG’s signature ultrawide lens,” in the second sensor and there is no information regarding the third sensor.

It might come with a zoom lens or Bokeh effects. Huawei P20 Pro is the first smartphone that comes with three lenses on the rear panel till now, but there is only one camera on the front side. The reports are suggesting that the fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear panel.

Apart from the cameras, the reports are suggesting that LG V40 will feature a notch on the top of the display similar to LG G7 that was launched by the company this year in May, the users will be able to hide the notch by turning it off the notification bar at the top. It is anticipated that it will be powered by a top of the line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and likely to be unveiled sometime later in 2018
