LG, South Korean Tech Giant has recently launched new LG X4+ in South Korea which is priced at KRW 300,000 (approximately Rs. 17,900). It will be available for purchase via three mobile carriers in South Korea later this month. The company said that LG X4+ is the first smartphone featuring LG Pay Payment Platform. Through this, users will be able to make payment faster by pressing their fingerprints and passwords. A ‘Finger Touch’ has been introduced by LG that will allow users to capture selfies and screenshots just by pressing the fingerprint sensor.
LG X4+ come with an aluminum back cover. It is available in two color options: Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet. The smartphone sports a 5.3-inch HD IPS display along with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels and having a pixel density of 277 PPI. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear side of the smartphone, which allows users to capture selfies and screenshots by using ‘Finger Touch’ feature.

LG X4+ has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage capacity, that can be further extended up to 2TB via micro SD card. The company reported that the newly launched smartphone have passed Military Standard (MIL-STD 810G) of the US Department of Defense which comprises vibration, impact, high low temperature, temperature, humidity and thermal shock.
According to Lee Sang-kyu, Head of South Korea Mobile Group, “We will continue to provide customers with opportunities to experience differentiated design and performance of LG’s premium smartphones.”
X4+ has a 13-megapixel sensor rear camera along with a 77-degree angle and a 5-megapixel sensor front- facing camera along with a 100-degree wide-angle lens. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It packs a 3,000mAh battery. From the connectivity board, LG X4+ includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and a USB Type-B. Dimensions of the LGX+ are 48.6×75.1×8.6mm and the weight is 172.3 grams.
