Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched the new smartphone Meizu 6T in its home country, China. It is available in three color options Black, Gold, and Red. The key highlighting features of the smartphone includes dual- rear cameras, 18:9 aspect ratio, bezel-less display.

The Chinese company has launched the Meizu 6T in three storage variants: 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM+32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage which have been priced at RMB 799 (approximately Rs 8,500), RMB 999 (approximately Rs 10,500) and RMB 1,099 (roughly Rs 11,600) respectively. All of the variants of Meizu 6T will be available for purchase from 1st June in the China market. However, the company has not revealed any information regarding the price and availability of the smartphone in other markets.
The Meizu 6T bears a 5.7-inch HD+ In-Cell display, 18:9 aspect ratio, 450 nits of brightness and a screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat-out-of the box. The smartphone has an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor along with Mali T860 GPU. It is equipped with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 128GB by using a memory card in a hybrid sim configuration,
In terms of optics, the Meizu 6T comes with dual-rear cameras which comprise the combination of 13-megapixel primary Sony IMX278 sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and f/2.0 respectively. At the front, the smartphone gets an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The smartphone features an ArcSoft Beauty as well as FACE AE technology.
Connectivity options in the Meizu 6T are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, a Micro-USB port and Bluetooth v4.1. The smartphone has an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, digital compass, fingerprint sensor, and gyroscope. The mTouch fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear side which unlocks the smartphone in just 0.2 seconds. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3300mAh battery. The dimensions of the smartphone are 152.3x73x8.4mm and weigh 145 grams.
