Meizu Unveiled m2 Smartphone for Rs.6,999 with 13MP Camera

Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company, launched its newly built handset Meizu m2. The company made the announcement of opening the registration on Snapdeal. The Meizu m2 will be exclusively available on Snapdeal at a price tag of Rs. 6,999.

The company, which has already introduced m2 note and MX5, reveals it is an effort to break the disorder in the mid range smartphone arena by offering a powerful product for the superior user experience, design and performance.

The smartphone features a polycarbonate unibody design and runs on the company's proprietary Flyme UI 4.5 operating system based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Meizu m2 bears a 5-inch HD display covered by AGC Dragontrail protective glass and have the resolution of 720*1280 pixels. It is also offering a pixel density of 296ppi. The handset is powered by a 64-bit quad core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz.

The smartphone clubbed by 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and Mali T720 GPU. It equips Samsung made 16GB inbuilt eMMC 5.0 flash storage, which can be further expanded upto 128GB via microSD card slot expansion. With this expandable storage capacity company offers its customers flexiblity to carry data, music and videos.

The dual SIM smartphone equips a Samsung 13 megapixel CMOS camera, which produces a sharp and  clear pictures. It is also offering a zero delay shooting technology and have the 5 megapixel front camera, which has been upgraded to share picture easily.

At the connectivity front, the Meizu m2 supports 4G LTE networks on both the SIM cards. In India the smartphone supports on 1800MHz FDD LTE band, but misses out on the 2300MHz band. It includes GPS, A-GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone measures a 68.9*8.7*140.1mm. It is backed by 2500mAh battery which delivers upto 23 hours of talktime on 2G, 10 hours of internet surfing on 4G and 680 hours of standby time.
