The domestic mobile maker has now appeared in the fray of Android Lollipop based devices. Company had entered in the fray few days earlier by introducing its affordable Canvas Spark (Q380) smartphone. Now, company seems ready to unveil another with the latest dessert, named Canvas Play (Q355).
The handset has been listed on company website. Though, we have no idea about when this device will show its competency in market as no pricing and availability details are known yet. This dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS which makes this new handset tastier with its impressive UI and features.
Canvas Play features a large 5.5-inch FWVGA display which delivers 480x854 pixels screen resolution. It takes the power from 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor which works along with 1GB RAM to enhance performance of the device.
Micromax Canvas Play comes packed with 8GB built-in storage which can further be expanded upto 32GB using microSD card. On imaging front, the phone is equipped with 5-megapixel rear shooter, having LED flash for bright result. A 0.3-megapixel front snapper is also there for video calling purpose. It comes with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options to meet with connectivity purpose.
As per the listing, a battery of 2820mAh capacity boosts the life of smartphone. It is claimed to deliver upto 10 hours of talk time and upto 273 hours of standby time. The handset comes with some pre-loaded apps like Askme, Chaatz, Clean Master, Hotstar, M! Games, M! live, News Hunt, PayTM, Quikr, and Snapdeal.
Earlier, the company had brought the Canvas Spark at budget price. We hope that this new handset will follow its predecessor and may hit the market at budget price tag. The mobile maker is also offering flip cover with its new handset.
