Micromax Gearing Up to Launch Canvas Knight Cameo A290 in India

The domestic consumer electronics company, Micromax has rolled up the sleeves to launch its new smartphone, Canvas Knight Cameo A290 in India. In accordance with a Mumbai based retailer as well as the cataloging by an E-commerce website,  are stipulating the entry of this successor in the Indian smartphone space.

Notably, the mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom has also unveiled some of the specs and features about this 4.4.2 KitKat based device. As per the reports, the handset has already enlisted by the online portal, Snapdeal with a price tag of Rs. 12,777 and also procurable on Ebay for Rs. 12,399.

However, as claimed by the sources this yet-to-be announced mobile phone is power packed with octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.4GHz, where the chipset is still a secret. The availability of 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel of selfie camera in an affordable price will definitely make it captivating among the Indian consumers.

The smartphone is equipped with decent 4.7-inch HD display, which delivers pixels resolution of 720x1280p. According to the stories, it is paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage that is expandable upto 32 GB via a microSD card. The device also comprises a battery capacity of 2,010mAh that billing itself to provide the talk time of 9 hours along with 280 hours of standby time.

The Canvas Knight Cameo A290 will not make you gloom on the connectivity front, because of the inclusion of GPS, 3G,Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/ EDGE and Bluetooth 4.0 in it. The device also incorporates some pre-loaded applications such as Truecaller, Zapper, BookmyShow, Hike and Amazon with dual SIM support.

Although, there is no official announcement from Micromax about this budget version of smartphone, Canvas Knight. Here, it is worth to say that the device is cheapest in the octa-core segment and could be emerging as the better contender of other closest option that is Panasonic P81, which is already available with a monetary value of Rs. 16,130.
