Microsoft is Coming in India on April 7 with Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL

After acquiring Nokia, Microsoft brought a slew of Lumia devices and almost all of them are kept under mid-range segment. India looks like the target of the Redmond giant. Now, company is again coming to India with its recently launched two smartphones, Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL.

Both devices were showcased last month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and now they are all set to show their existence in Indian market. The date is suggested for April 7 as media invite for the launch has been sent out which reads, "Inspiration doesn’t only work 9 to 5!" However, the invitation has no device name mentioned, but the names of Lumia 640 and 640 XL can be speculated, looking at the image in the invite.

On the other side, both devices are listed on Microsoft India website with coming soon tag. It is also reported that Flipkart will be selling them exclusively. The e-commerce store has said that it will list both Lumia handsets in its April commission payouts under the exclusive category. So, it’s clear that Microsoft will start selling both handsets online via Flipkart exclusively this month.

No other detail regarding the availability and pricing have been provided by the manufacturer and e-commerce store yet. Let’s talk about some specs.
