The Redmond tech giant Microsoft seems all set to announce its budget Lumia 540 Dual SIM for Indian market. The juggernaut has done with the invites. So, it’s a clear hint that we will soon get the Lumia device.
Invite reads, “Come. Meet us to welcome the newest member of the Microsoft Lumia family.” Date of the launch has also been mentioned over there. So, save May 14 in your Calendar when this elegant handset will appear in India at 6.45pm. The invite gives a little glimpse of the Lumia 540 in Cyan color.
This device was initially announced back in April 2015, and now it is going to reach in India. It is also said that the same handset will launch in countries of Asia Pacific by end of May 2015. Let’s talk about the specs. This smartphone flaunts a 5-inch IPS display which is capable in delivering 1280 x 720 pixels screen resolution.
It takes the power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.2 GHz for smooth performance. 1GB RAM compliments the processor to offer seamless user experience. On storage front, Lumia 540 is paired with 8GB inbuilt memory which can further be expanded upto 128GB using microSD card.
It runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim update. On imaging side, an 8MP rear shooter with LED Flash, autofocus, f/2.2 aperture and 28mm lens is crafted so beautifully to bless with amazing picture-taking experience. On front side, a 5MP snapper is equipped for selfie addicts. It is backed by 2200mAh battery and comes with 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity features.
Well, there is no official information regarding its price. So, it’s hard to speculate the prcing until the phone will make entry in Indian market.
