The Lenovo - owned Motorola is hosting an event in New Delhi where the Chinese company debuts the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play. However, both of the smartphones were unveiled in Brazil in last month, though the specifications of the smartphone in India launch is not surprising for us. The live streaming of the Moto G6 India launch event is to be scheduled at 11:45 AM, where the users can foresee the live activities of the event on YouTube without skipping a single detail. To watch the live streaming, the users have to tap on the play button once the streaming start. It is worth noting that In Brazil, the Chinese company had launched the Moto G6 Plus alongside Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play, but the company would not unveil the Moto G6 Plus in the domestic market.
The Moto G6 has been priced at Rs. 13,999 for 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage, whereas the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is available at a price tag of Rs. 15,999. In terms of pricing, it seems that Moto G6 will face stiff competition from Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. It will be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon and the deliveries of the smartphone will start from 4th June midnight. Moto G6 will also be available at Moto Hub stores throughout the country.
The Moto G6 bears a 5.7-inch full-HD screen, screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, clocked at 1.8GHz. It is equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with an option to extend further up to 128GB by using a memory card. In terms of software, the smartphone runs on top of line Android 8.0 Oreo out- of- the- box and comes with dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) functionality.
In terms of photography, the Moto G6 gets dual rear cameras which comprise the combination of 12-megapixel primary camera offering an aperture of f/1.8, 76-degree lens and 5-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture of /2.2 and 79-degree lens. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sport an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with dual-tone and LED flash. It features a special low-light mode which captures impressive photos during low light/ poor conditions
The Connectivity options on the Moto G6 are 4G LTE, WI-Fi, USB Type-C, NFC, a 3.5mm earphone jack, and Bluetooth 4.2. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3000mAh battery with the support of the TurboCharge feature. It is available in two color options: Indigo and Silver. Moto G6 Play comes with a price tag of Rs. 11,999 and the company launched the smartphone only in one variant - 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. When considering the price point, it seems that the Moto G6 Play would compete against the likes of Redmi Note 5 in India. It is available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart but also made be available at Moto Hub stores.

In terms of optics, the Moto G6 Play sport a single 13-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and single LED flash. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone gets an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an aperture rate of f/2.2 and 80-degree lens.
The key highlighting feature of the Moto G6 Play is its enormous 4000mAh battery along with Turbocharging ensures fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and the usual sensors. The weight of Moto G6 Play is 173 grams and its dimensions are 154.4x72.2x8.95mm.
