After the unveiling of Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 Play, the Lenovo- owned Motorola has started working on the G7 series which is expected to be unveiled by 2019. It seems that this time the company will offer four new smartphones in its G7 Line up likely to be dubbed as - Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power, and Moto G7 Play. The leaked images of these smartphones were recently surfaced on the internet which reveals the design and some of the key specifications.
The basic Moto G7 and the Moto Moto G7 Play have been recently spotted on the EEC and the FCC certification website, while the Moto G7 Power has been listed on the Geekbench website.
The Moto G7 Power has been listed with the model number MSM8953 that means it will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset is to be based on 14nm processor. The listing further reveals that the Moto G7 power will get a 4GB of RAM and Google’s latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system
The leaks so far claims that the Moto G7 Power is expected to come with a 6.22-inch notch display along with a regular notch that houses a single- selfie camera. The Moto G7 Power, as the name implies is to be equipped with a larger 5,000mAh battery. For the photography, the Moto G7 Power will have a single rear and a selfie camera that are said to feature 12MP sensors and 8MP sensors respectively.
According to the GeekBench Listing, the Moto G7 Power has scored 1,286 in single-core test and 5,443 in multi-core tests. Interestingly, both single- core and multi-core test scores are quite good for the octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, so there is a probability that the company might use a new generation of the processor - but all these are rumors at the moment.
It is being speculated the all four Moto G7 series smartphones would be unveiled by Lenovo during the first quarter of 2019. To recall, the Moto G6 series was unveiled in April 2018 but this time the company could unveil Moto G7 series a little earlier than April.
