Moto Z4 ‘Odin’ becomes first 5G-upgradable phone

Motorola is currently working on a new flagship smartphone, named as Moto Z4. A popular technology platform claimed that Motorola’s next-gen flagship phone is internally known as “Odin”. The smartphone will support 5G Moto Mod and will be powered by a Snapdragon 8150 processor.for the very first time we have heard about Moto Z4, which will replace the Moto Z3.

As per the popular technology platform, flagship-level features and specifications will be offered by Moto Z4. As per the reports, the smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8150, Qualcomm’s first 7nm processor and the answer to Apple’s A12 Bionic and Huawei’s Kirin 980 chipset. Odin will run on Android 9.0 Pie and will support the company’s 5G Moto Mod which means that Motorola is not going to drop Moto Mods support.

Many things are still disclosed about Moto Z4 except that it would feature 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM which might be the base variant of Moto Z4. As per the sources, Motorola is working on a special software for in-display fingerprint scanner, but it is not sure yet that whether Odin will have the next-gen fingerprint scanner. It is also said that for the US market, “Odin” is being developed. Apparently, like the Moto Z3, the Moto Z4 might be a “Verizon” exclusive device.

As far as the sales of Motorola is concerned, it did not have a good year.the company has been fighting to make a mark in markets like India, China and US. But for now, Motorola is not saying anything about the next-gen flagship.
