The Motorola One Power has been announced by Motorola in the Indian market. The key highlights of Motorola One Power include 636 Qualcomm Snapdragon, 5000 mAh battery, iPhone X like display notch, Android One programme and more.
The newly launched smartphone compete against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. As a part of the Android One Programme which is developed by Google and the company claims that it will get regular updates. On the occasion of completing 90 years, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched the Motorola One Power in partnership with Google.

Motorola has reported that it would enter into new segments like the Internet of Things, cloud, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Xiaomi new Poco F1 cannot support HD video streaming on various platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video but Motorola says it took authorization from Widevine L1 which supports HD video streaming in Motorola One Power.
In India, Motorola One Power has been priced at 15,999 for a single 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The smartphone is available only at Flipkart.in and prospective buyers can register today (24th September 2018) at e-commerce platform. The Motorola One Power will be available for purchase from 5th October 2018 for the first time in India via the flash sale.
The Motorola One Power features a 6.2-inch full-HD+ LCD Max Vision display along with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The device has a notch on the top of the display and thin bezels around the corners and we can see a Motorola logo at the bottom of the display.
It runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo software and compatible with Android Pie. Further, the company has touted that the smartphone will receive regular software updates
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. For storing data, the company has offered 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be extended up to 256GB by using a micro SD card.
For photography, the Motorola One Power gets dual 16MP+5MP cameras on the rear panel as well as support 4K video recording. Up front, the smartphone has a 12MP sensors for selfies and video calling.
The Motorola One Power supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A fingerprint scanner is positioned on the rear panel.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 5,000mAh battery which is touted to render six hours of use only in 15 minutes of charging. The smartphone is shipped with 15W TurboPower technology which charges the smartphone quickly.
