MWC 2017: LG Rolls Out Invites For G6 Launch

LG, the giant electronic service provider and manufacturer is all set to unveil its next flagship smartphone G6 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, going to be held on February 26. The company has also started to roll out the invitations for its pre-MWC event along with the tagline “See More, Play More”.

The upcoming handset by the company is expected to feature a large display with smaller bezels. Along with LG, leading smartphone manufacturing firms like Nokia, Huawei and Motorola are also hosting pre-MWC events on February 26. The previous flagship model G5 of the company did not play well in the smartphone market, keeping this in mind the company this time is has ditched the traditional look and has used Glass and Metal for manufacturing the upcoming G6.

As far as specifications of G6 are concerned, the Android smartphone is believed to feature a new 5.7-inch QHD+ LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2880 X1440 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm's latest octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor and will be blessed with a waterproof body with 3.5mm jack.

Interestingly Samsung has postponed the launch of its Galaxy S8 handset by April 2017, so, we can assume that LG will have a good headstart with its G6 smartphone till then.
