TP-Link is a China-based company renowned for its networking products such as adapters, Wi-Fi Routers, and many more. Most of the people do not aware that it is also a smartphone manufacturer. It offers a range of Neffos smartphones and recently launched a Neffos N1 especially in the Malaysian market. It is available for purchase in the country at a price tag of MYR 1,099 (approximately Rs. 18,200). The smartphone comes with a metal body design. The company reported that the smartphone has passed a twist endurance test 500 times and a 10cm drop test 16,000 times.
Lazada is one of the retailers in the Malaysian market which is offering two years of local manufacturing warranty and one-to-one exchange offer on the purchase of Neffos N1. The retailer is also providing a car charger, a USB hub, and a power bank to first 30 customers.
The company reported that the Neffos N1 has a better camera with several features such as bokeh effect and studio-quality portrait mode and real-time beautification mode. Additionally, the smartphone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that certified with water and oil- resistant and unlocks the phone just in 0.2 seconds. A dedicated mute button is positioned on the left side of the smartphone which can be used to make the calls and notifications silent.

The Neffos N1 is said to feature a 5.5” IPS LCD of Full HD resolution and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone runs on NFUI 7.0 which is based on Android Nougat. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 SoC which clocked at 2.5GHz, paired with Mali-T880 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The rear camera of the smartphone looks exactly to Huawei P10, but Neffos N1 comes with a dual- rear camera setup with two 12-megapixel sensors featuring a dual- LED flash and fingerprint sensor. For the selfie snapper, the Neffos N1 has an 8-megapixel front – facing camera featuring with 86-degree and wide-angle lens on the top.
In terms of storage, the Neffos N1 comes with a 64GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 128GB via memory card. The smartphone is equipped with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options. Under the hood, it packs a 3260 mAh battery along with fast charging support.
