New Vphone S8- World's Smallest Touchscreen Smartphone

While the world is moving towards the big screen gadgets, there's an organization that wants to divert the taste of consumers from big screen smartphones to small ones. Vphone, a Chinese techno manufacturing firm, established in the year 2010, has built up the world's smallest touch screen handset that looks just like a smartwatch but works as a cell phone. It features a small touchscreen display, a smaller than expected SIM card slot and all other required mobile features.

The Vphone S8 Android smartphone features a 1.54-inch display, while a 2.5D curved glass is placed on top of it. The screen displays time, messages, incoming calls and a lost of other useful things. It packs 64MB of RAM and 128MB of storage (expandable up to 8GB via a T-flash card slot). The connectivity options of the handset include 2G at GSM/ 850/900/1800/1900 bands, Bluetooth 4.0, and a USB 2.0 port.

The phone looks like a strapless smartwatch without a strap, it resembles like an apple watch's dial. The smartphone is blessed with a metallic design language, and sports three capacitive buttons below the display, which works as back, home, and overview buttons. The handset is backed up by a 380mAh battery with tiny SIM (mini SIM) card slot, which helps the user to use it as a separate device. The GSM-based smartphone measures 46.7 mm x 37.3 mm x 9.9 mm and is 30 grams in weight and will be available in Sliver and Black color variants priced at USD 30 (Rs 2000 approx).

The organization did not unveil any details regarding the availability of smartphone in the Indian market, yet it is likey to be launched in the future.
