Nokia 3, which was launched only last month in India, is now available with zero percent interest EMI schemes by Home Credit. HMD Global, the firm responsible for the marketing of Nokia phones, has struck a partnership with Home Credit India to offer an interest-free loan scheme to interested Nokia 3 buyers in the country. Nokia 3 is the cheapest of the three new Android smartphones introduced by the Finnish company a few weeks back in India.
The new financing schemes by Home Credit on Nokia 3 will also include flexible down payment and EMI options. The new buyers will be able to choose to pay their phone EMIs over the span of six or seven months, with no interest on the loan amount.
Nokia 3, which was launched along with Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 feature phones, is available in four color variants- Tempered Blue, Matte Black, Silver White and Copper White. The phone is being sold in India at Rs. 9,499 specifically recommended price. Recalling the specifications of Nokia 3, the phone features a 5-inch HD display with Android 7.0 Nougat, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, and 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 SoC processor. The Nokia 3 has an 8MP camera both at the front and at back.

Tomas Hrdlicka, CMO, Home Credit India Finance, in his comment about the newly formed partnership, said, "This strategic partnership is aimed at enabling customers to have easier access to Nokia phones with hassle-free financing options. We are optimistic that our collaboration with HMD will make buying of the new range of mobiles much easier and convenient given our huge network of point of sales across the country."
The statement indicates that the same offer may also apply to the upcoming budget Nokia smartphones in India. It does not confirm yet whether Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 phones will be covered under his scheme.
