Nokia 6 China Sale in Next Week; More Android Phones to Come on February 26

Finally, after making the buzz in the mobile industry, the first Nokia Android smartphone, Nokia 6 has made an exclusive debut in China, earlier this month. However, the device was rumored to unveil at the forthcoming 2017 MWC event which is confirmed to held in between February 27th and March 2nd in Barcelona. The post shared on Nokia’s facebook page is favoring the launch of new Nokia 6 smartphone in the country during next week.

"Get ready! The Nokia 6 is coming to China! More announcements to follow on February 26th... Save the date!", the post said.

As post conveys, Nokia’s new guardian, HMD Global is likely to showcase more Android products from the house, a day before the Mobile World Congress event. This unveiling of the more upcoming Nokia smartphones isn’t probable to stick only with the China market, other markets will also be observed the arrival of whole new Nokia range. However, the HMD Global has earlier announced that the Nokia 6 is only meant for the China market.

As the Nokia 6 is going to sale in China on January 19, the retail partner for this maiden Android smartphone gadget, JD.com kicked off registrations for the limited numbers of deliverable units. Currently, only available in the Black colour option, the Nokia 6 will be retailed at CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 17,000) amount. Whereas, a Silver colour variant of the same phone has also been seen on a Chinese telecommunications certification site TENAA.

As for now, it is not confirmed that more Nokia Android phones are in the queue to roll out at the MKC 2017. Basically, all the rumors are based on the leaks. All will be confronted during the event from February 27th to March 2nd. Around seven Nokia Android phones and feature phones under the same Nokia brand has also been rumored to launch this year.

If talks about the specifications, the new Nokia 6 smartphone is featured with a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D curved display with the advanced safety feature of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover protection. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, the smartphone uses a 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM and provides inbuilt storage of 64GB that can further be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. As an operating system, Nokia 6 runs on updated Android 7.0 Nougat version and offers dual-SIM network connectivity. Moreover, it is also blessed with a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF, and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfie lovers. Measuring 154x75.8x7.8mm, the device is also fitted with a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button. Apart from this, the new Nokia 6, which is backed by a 3000 mAh battery, also have Dolby Atmos speakers setup for music.
