Oppo A3s specifications were leaked before the official launch and now the smartphone has been finally launched in India. The key highlights of Oppo A3s include dual rear cameras, a 4230mAh battery and octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The selfie camera comes with Oppo's AI Beauty Technology 2.0.
The company reported that the Oppo A3 is the first smartphone that packs a 13MP+2MP rear cameras and an 8MP front-facing camera coupled with AI-powered technology. The company claims that ‘AI Beauty' technology has the capacity to support facial recognition in smart terminals that have been acquired from premium suppliers.
Will Yang, Brand Director of OPPO India, stated in a press release while unveiling the Oppo A3s, “With A3s, we aim to offer consumers, especially youth, who are looking for an advanced camera phone that offers a strong battery life. With advanced features like dual camera, super full screen and extensive battery, this device has been designed to enable consumers to capture cherished moments all day long. The A3s truly represents our ambition to continue being the Selfie Expert and Leader in the market.”

Oppo A3s comes with a price tag of Rs 10,990 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB onboard storage variant in India. It will be available for purchase from 15th July (Sunday) on various online platforms namely Flipkart, Amazon, and Paytm, as well as offline retail channels. The company has launched the Oppo A3s in two colors Dark Purple and Red in India.
Oppo A3s bears a larger 6.2-inch HD+ 'Super Full Screen' display with screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels and 88.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. Flux dispensing technology has been used by the Oppo to offer better screen ratio which helps to narrow down the bezels by 16 percent to 2.05mm thin. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage. Inbuilt storage is expandable up to 256GB by using a microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo skinned with Color OS 5.1.
The Oppo A3s comes with a ‘Music Party’ feature which enables the users to enjoy the music experience by connecting various smartphones of OPPO’s own Android-based ColorOS 5.1 or above.
The Oppo A3s has dual cameras on the rear panel which consists of the combination of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor coupled with an LED flash. Up front, the smartphone has a 8MP selfie shooter integrated with AI Beauty Technology 2.0. It is armed with a 4230mAh battery.
The Oppo A3s comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options. The dimensions of the smartphone are 156.2x75.6x8.2mm.
Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer officially made the announcement of the 3GB RAM+32GB variant of Oppo A3s is retailing at Rs 13,990. To recall, the Oppo A3s base i.e., 2GB RAM + 16GB variant was launched in India in the previous month at a price tag of Rs 10,990.
The company has posted on its official Twitter account the announcement of the premium variant of Oppo A3s. Presently the company has not announced the availability details of the new variant of Oppo A3s. Additionally, the company has updated the configuration details in its official Oppo India's website.
