Oppo A83 (2018) has been introduced in the country with a price tag of Rs. 15,990. The Oppo A83 is launched in India at Rs. 13,990 and the new gadget simply is an update to it. The new Oppo will compete the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and Vivo V7 concerning the price tag in the market. This time, the RAM and onboard storage to the new smartphone is updated and these create a distinction between both the models. The features list is not updated much, although it will be available in Red, Gold, and Blue color options in India.
The Oppo A83 (2018) uses Android 7.1 Nougat-based ColorOS 3.2 platform. The dual-SIM(Nano) gadget is available with a 5.7-inch HD+ LCD panel measuring 720x1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Going underneath, it has a 4GB of RAM, octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.5GHz, a MediaTek MT6737T SoC and 64GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 256GB using microSD card.
Concerning camera, it takes an 8-megapixel camera sensor at up front and a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor along with an LED flash. In the connectivity options, it has Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Micro-USB port, and further a facial recognition feature.
