Day-to-day new smartphones are arriving in the market with advanced technical specifications which enhancing the stiff competition among the smartphone manufacturers. Oppo F9 has been the matter of subject from last few weeks has finally launched by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer particularly in the Vietnam market. As expected, the new offering from Oppo is the first smartphone that comes with V-shaped Water- Drop notch. The much anticipated Oppo F9 has a thin- bezels, Full Screen Display that offers 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Apart from Oppo F9, the company is also working on Oppo F9 Pro and rumors started surfacing on the internet before the official launch. The Oppo F9 Pro is set to be launched on 21st August in India, the specifications of another Oppo F9 variant have appeared on the internet in a sales pitch note. It is anticipated that the Oppo F9 Pro will come with VOOC charging technology similar to Oppo F9.
The Oppo F9 has been priced at VND 7,690,000 which roughly translates to Rs 23,300 for low 4GB RAM configuration, whereas the company has not announced the price of 6GB RAM variant. It is worth noting that 4GB RAM variant of Oppo F9 is available for pre-bookings particularly in the Vietnamese, whereas the deliveries will commence from 24th August.

The Oppo F9 boasts a 6.3-inch fullHD+LTPS TFT display which offers 19.5:9 aspect ratio and the screen resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. It runs on refined Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System. Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor integrated with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. For storing data, the smartphone gets 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and also has microSD card.
In terms of lens, the Oppo F9 packs a dual 16MP+2MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and f/2.4 respectively. For selfie and video calling, the smartphone has 25MP front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.4 along with an LED flash. The smartphone offers HDR technology feature in the front camera of Oppo F9 to render high dynamic range (HDR) shots. Additionally, the smartphone comes with AI-powered features such as scene based recognition, AI Beautification 2.1, AR stickers, portrait mode and Slow Motion video mode.
The Oppo F9 supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on the smartphone are board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, and a proximity sensor. As expected, it gets a 3,500mAh battery with the company's owned VOOC charging technology which charges the smartphone quickly. The dimensions and weight of the smartphone are 156.7x74x7.99mm and 169 grams respectively.
The recently launched Oppo F9 and the upcoming F9 Pro are identical to each other in terms of specifications. The specifications of F9 Pro have surfaced on the internet before the formal launch.
