The Chinese juggernaut Oppo has prepared itself to entice Indian market with its plushy appearance, the Oppo R5 Gilded Limited Edition. Golden colored bezel surrounding on a 4.85mm sleek device adds a touch of pizzazz. The Limited Edition is just incredulous with its premium and elegant aesthetic.
The original Oppo R5 alone has a very captivating built and features and launching the Gilded Limited Edition has got success in adding more glory in the path of Chinese tech giant. However, the maker has decided to maintain the price constant, no rise in the cost of this Limited Edition Oppo R5. It will also be selling at Rs. 29,990.

Pre-order for Oppo R5 Gilded Limited Edition has begun. Only 10,000 units of this limited edition variant are available for sale globally. The prime focus on this device is its gold frame on sides. Company had claimed earlier that this handset will be going to sale via pre-booking system only. However, it’s still a trade secret that what amount of devices will be going to sale in India.
CEO of OPPO India, Tom Lu said, "This phone has been developed with the end user in mind. We used cutting edge manufacturing techniques to create a phone that fits perfectly into the users' hands, and that feels incredible. The gold frame has been forged nine times and then finished by hand to give a perfect sheen and feel. It has a quality that is not available anywhere else in the industry."
On the specification side, it is identical with the original one with 4.85mm sleek profile, 5.2-inch full-HD AMOLED display, 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, Adreno 405, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera.
