Oppo Realme 1 Listed on Amazon India Set to Launch on 15th May

Previously this month, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer had partnered with Flipkart to sell Zenfone Max Pro in India. To compete with ASUS- Flipkart, now the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo Amazon has collaborated with Amazon India to unveil the new smartphone brand, dubbed as Realme. The quite interesting part is that the Realme sounds similar to Xiaomi Redmi. Oppo, the Chinese company is all set to officially unveil Realme 1 at the launch event in which is to be scheduled on 15th May in India.

OPPO will unveil a “powerful new brand” as well as a “Stylish new smartphone” at an event on 15th May. The Realme 1 has been listed on Amazon India website which reveals a couple of enticing features of the upcoming smartphone. It seems that the new smartphone Realme 1 is designed to compete with Xiaomi Redmi 1 which was launched in India at a price of Rs. 5,999 and it is available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart and Mi.com.

According to the CEO of Realme India, “Realme satisfies the needs of online consumers through unique, exquisite design, leading specs, cutting-edge technology and overall better quality.” Both, Oppo as well as Flipkart has not revealed the information regarding the price, specifications, and availability of the upcoming Realme 1

The listing page reveals some of the enticing features of the upcoming smartphone such as exquisite design, leading specs, cutting-edge technology, and overall better quality. The listing page also states that the Oppo Realme 1 will come with a Black Diamond design which looks similar to the recently launched Oppo F7. Rigorous testing of the smartphone is claimed at Amazon promotional banner with numerous drop and button test conducted. The upcoming smartphone will come with triangular cuts, metallic frame and diamond black design on the rear panel.

The uniquely designed rear panel of Realme 1 is compared with the Redmi 5A which comes with a metallic back panel. The listing page shows that the upcoming smartphone is said to feature a rear camera along with an LED flash. The Realme 1 will be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon India and there is no information regarding the price of the upcoming smartphone, but it is anticipated that it will be priced in the bracket of Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000.

The uniquely designed rear panel of the Realme 1 looks similar to the recently launched Oppo A3 that priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 21,000). The Oppo A3 comes with four color options: Black, Pink, Red, and Silver. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System, based on ColorOS 5.0. It boasts a 6.2-inch full-HD+ LTPS display with the screen resolution of 1080x2280 pixels and said to feature a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is embedded with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. In terms of optics, the recently launched Oppo A3 packs a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It is fueled by a 3400mAh battery.
